Six 35A + six 10A channels, integrates with Victron.

STAR-Power is Safiery's flagship digital switching controller — a 12V distribution panel controller with twelve outputs: six 30A channels (fixed on/off) for high-current loads, plus six 10A dimmable channels, rated to 100A continuous and up to 150A through the unit. Safiery's operating manual is explicit that STAR-Power — like the rest of the STAR range — is built for the main distribution panel in the rear of vehicles, motorhomes, vans and caravans, not the engine bay or the cabin: this is the controller for the build that needs one box doing real current, not just signal switching.

Inside the STAR range, it's the high-current specialist. STAR-Light (12 x 10A channels, 40A total) is built for lighting circuits and RGBW colour control; STAR-Rover (4 x 15A channels, 40A total, IP65) is built for tight or harsh-condition mounting spots. STAR-Power is the only one of the three rated to 150A. It also has twelve manual backup buttons built into the controller face, direct-driving every output even if CAN, Bluetooth and WiFi all fail at once — STAR-Rover has no backup buttons at all. It's also positive-switching only on every channel (negatives go straight to ground or battery, not back through the controller), where STAR-Rover lets you configure each channel as positive or negative.

Like every STAR controller, it runs CAN bus (NMEA 2000-compatible, integrates with Victron), Bluetooth Long Range — supporting up to 80 wireless switches on a single system — and Matter WiFi, all simultaneously, on open standards rather than a closed system like Redarc's R-Bus. Short-circuit protection is fuseless, opening the circuit in 80 microseconds.

Delivery in 30-45 days

150A

Bluetooth

Victron

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load. A STAR module is fitted next to the loads (lights, pumps, awning, fridge) and short wires run from the module to the load; the buttons talk to the module over radio or CAN, so no control cable has to reach the dashboard. Every channel has its own electronic protection: if a load draws too much, the channel opens by itself and is reset from the button or the app, with no fuse to change. Connect the CAN bus to a Victron Cerbo GX or a Quasar Glass display and the same channels are controlled from the on-board screen.

Technical specifications

Channels

6 x 30A (fixed on/off) + 6 x 10A (dimmable) = 12 total

Current rating

100A continuous, 150A surge

Channel polarity

Positive switching only on every channel; negatives return directly to ground/battery, not through the controller

Manual backup buttons

12, built into the controller face; direct-drive the outputs, overriding software commands even if CAN, Bluetooth and WiFi all fail

Communication

CAN bus (2 ports, NMEA-style connectors) + Bluetooth Long Range + Matter WiFi, all simultaneously

Construction

Anodised aluminium

IP rating

IP54

Dimensions

160 x 120 x 28mm

Voltage range

10-32V DC

Minimum supply wire / max fuse

16mm² minimum, 150A max fuse

Short-circuit protection

Fuseless; opens the circuit in 80 microseconds

Wireless switch capacity

Up to 80 wireless switches on a single system

Documentation

Manual — Download the PDF

Declaration of conformity — Download the PDF

Manual — Download the PDF

Videos

SHIPPING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The price includes transport to your address in Italy and the European Union. It's rated IP65, ahead of STAR-Power and STAR-Light which are both IP54 - so it's the one to fit under a seat or anywhere else moisture is a genuine concern rather than an occasional risk.

Every channel on the Rover can be assigned as positive or negative switching, a flexibility STAR-Power doesn't have (it's positive-only across its 12 channels) and that Rover shares with STAR-Light. Run standard loads on any of the four 15A outputs, or configure the bank as 2 x dual-colour LED pairs or a single full RGBW zone - a lighter option than committing to the 12-channel STAR-Light when a build only needs one or two lighting zones alongside its regular switching.

Like the rest of the STAR range, Rover talks CAN/NMEA (SAE J1939 and NMEA 2000 - open, published standards, not a proprietary bus) through its single CAN port, plus Bluetooth Long Range for wireless switches and phone-based setup, so it drops onto the same backbone as other STAR controllers or NMEA 2000 displays. Outputs are fuseless - a hardware trip opens the circuit in around 80 microseconds if something shorts - though Safiery's own wire/fuse safety table still specifies a fused 6mm² supply feed (50A max) running in from the battery. Unlike STAR-Power, Rover carries no manual backup buttons on the housing; it's controlled entirely via CAN, Bluetooth, or its own WiFi setup page.

Delivery in 10-20 days

4× 15A

CAN/NMEA

Bluetooth

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load. Connect the CAN bus to a Victron Cerbo GX or a Quasar Glass display and the same channels are controlled from the on-board screen.

Technical specifications

Channels

4 x 15A dimmable outputs (40A max total); configurable as 2 x dual-colour pairs or 1 x full RGBW zone

Channel polarity

Each channel individually assignable as positive or negative control

Operating voltage

10-32V DC

Communication

1 x CAN port (NMEA-style connector) + Bluetooth Long Range

IP rating

IP65

Construction

ABS plastic

Dimensions

70 x 55 x 22mm

Output wiring

15A per output, 2.5mm², crimp-and-seal connections

Supply wiring & fuse

6mm² min. supply wire, 50A max. fuse (manual's wire/fuse safety table); a separate description-page figure gives 4mm²/40A max for the power input - not reconciled in the source manual

Short-circuit protection

Fuseless hardware trip in approx. 80 microseconds (STAR-range-wide spec); no fuse required on the output leg

Manual backup buttons

None on-board (unlike STAR-Power's 12 manual backup buttons)

Documentation

Manual — Download the PDF

Declaration of conformity — Download the PDF

Videos

SHIPPING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The price includes transport to your address in Italy and the European Union. Its siblings are sized differently — STAR-Power (12 channels, up to 150A total) is built for main distribution panels carrying high-current loads, while STAR-Rover (4×15A, IP65) is the compact option for tight or harsh mounting spots like engine rooms and under-seat cavities. STAR-Light V2 sits between them with the most channels dedicated to lighting: 12 channels of up to 10A each (40A total), 8 of which are dimmable, and two wired as full RGBW colour outputs with double-press switching between white and colour modes.

Like the rest of the range it runs CAN bus, long-range Bluetooth and Matter WiFi simultaneously, so it can talk to Victron gear, wired CAN keypads and a phone app at the same time (Matter support ships from Q3 2025 — earlier units need a trip back to Safiery to load the certificate, since it can't be applied over the air). A single controller supports up to 80 wireless switches and up to 6 buttons per channel, so large or duplicated switch layouts run off the one controller rather than needing separate boxes. Protection is fuseless — a short trips the circuit within 80 microseconds, and each channel's current threshold and trip delay (10A / 1 second by default) are user-adjustable.

Against Redarc's TVMS Rogue, STAR-Light V2 offers 12 channels to the Rogue's 10, an anodised-aluminium case instead of plastic, RGBW colour the Rogue doesn't have, and pairs with Safiery's 7-inch STAR-Touch screen (plus up to 5 tanks) versus the Rogue's 2-tank RedVision display.

Delivery in 10-20 days

12× 10A

Matter

They are driven from a keypad, from the app or from the on-board display, and every channel is electronically protected.

Six wired inputs plus six logic blocks; integrates with Victron and the STAR-Tank radar sensors.

STAR-Switch Custom takes the STAR range's logic in a different direction to every other device in the family: instead of switching loads, it reads switches. Six wired inputs accept independent switches that you already have, wired either as 12V-high — the switch's own LED lights up when triggered — or switched to ground, and each input can be set to latch or respond momentarily. Safiery calls it a "controller in reverse": rather than driving outputs directly, it runs those six inputs through five programmable logic blocks — AND, NAND, OR, NOR, LINK — and broadcasts the result wirelessly to the controller running the rest of the system. It's also cross-listed with Safiery's STAR-Tank radar sensors and integrates with Victron.

That's built for 4WD builders and OEMs — Safiery's own line for it is "clever 4WD users and OEMs" — who want conditional logic added to switches they already have, without wiring those switches straight into a controller's output channels. Its fusing spec reflects that role: a 2.5mm² minimum wire and 10A maximum fuse, far lighter than the load-switching STAR-Power (16mm² / 150A) or STAR-Light (8mm² / 50A), because this device only carries low-current input signalling, not load current.

At 70 x 55 x 22mm with the plug on its side, and a mounting orientation Safiery's own spec table lists simply as "Hidden," it's built to be tucked out of sight behind a panel rather than mounted somewhere visible. Setup follows the same method as the rest of the range: hold the front button for 10 seconds until the LED shows blue, then join its own WiFi network — SSID "STARCUSTOM" — from a smartphone to configure inputs and logic.

Delivery in 30-45 days

6 Inputs

Logic

Documentation

Manual — Download the PDF

Declaration of conformity — Download the PDF

Declaration of conformity — Download the PDF

Videos

SHIPPING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The price includes transport to your address in Italy and the European Union. That's the whole point of the 12V variant - with a constant power source instead of a battery, the backlight can stay on continuously, so the buttons stay legible after dark. It suits a galley or interior panel position in a 4WD, motorhome, van, or caravan (note: Safiery's installation guidance places STAR range products in the rear of the vehicle, not the engine bay or the cabin where the driver and passenger sit) where a 12V feed is already close to the mounting point and you want the switch visible at a glance.

Like every wireless switch in the STAR range, the SP4 talks to its controller over Bluetooth Long Range, so there's no CAN wiring to run to the switch itself - just the 12V supply lead. Each switch is programmed with its own Bluetooth UUID, and the controller will only accept commands from that specific UUID once paired, so it won't pick up a neighbouring STAR system or cross-talk with another switch on the same rig. It pairs with any of the three Bluetooth-equipped STAR controllers - STAR-Power, STAR-Light, or STAR-Rover - and a single system supports up to 80 wireless switches, so the 12V Supply can sit alongside the battery-powered SP4, the STAR-Switch Quad, or CAN keypads like the SP8 and Icon, without hitting a capacity ceiling.

Choose the 12V Supply over the standard battery SP4 when a wired power source is already at the mounting point and an always-on backlight is worth running that extra wire; choose the battery SP4 instead when you need to mount the switch somewhere a 12V feed isn't practical to reach.

Delivery in 10-20 days

4 button

12V

Backlight

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load. Each button is custom-engraved for what it operates, and a blue LED confirms status at a glance.

It pairs over long-range Bluetooth to a STAR-Power, STAR-Light, or STAR-Rover controller — one of three modes those controllers run simultaneously, alongside CAN/NMEA and Matter WiFi. Needing no cable back to the backbone, the Quad suits positions where a CAN home-run is impractical, or where you want to reposition a switch later without re-wiring — unlike the CAN-wired IC8 and SP8 keypads, which need a cable run, or the STAR-Switch Custom, built to take hardwired inputs rather than act as a switch itself. In the same family, the SP4-12V-Supply switch trades battery power for a 12V feed specifically so its backlight stays lit continuously; the Quad runs on its own battery instead, needing no wiring at all.

The numbers matter in practice. Each switch pairs to a unique Bluetooth UUID — one of 2^128 possible addresses — and the controller only responds to that specific switch once paired, so a Quad won't cross-trigger a neighbour's STAR system in a caravan park or marina. Up to 80 wireless switches can run on one STAR system, so several Quads can be spread around a build without hitting a capacity ceiling. Up to 6 buttons can be linked to drive one channel together, and repeated presses on a single button step between two channels — press once for channel A, twice for B, three times to fire both — the method used to run dual-colour white/amber lighting from one switch. Bluetooth range is roughly 40m.

Delivery in 10-20 days

4 button

Blue LED

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load. They are driven from a keypad, from the app or from the on-board display, and every channel is electronically protected.

CAN keypad with eight interchangeable icon buttons, IP65.

The STAR-Switch IC8 is the 8-button CAN keypad in the STAR digital switching range, built around interchangeable engraved icon buttons rather than a fixed rubber layout. Fit the icons that match what's actually wired — Awning Out, Canopy Light, AUX — and every switch is labelled for its real job. Rewire a circuit later and you swap the button, not the whole keypad.

It connects to your STAR controller over CAN, the same open SAE J1939/NMEA 2000 backbone the rest of the range runs on, and needs no setup of its own: the keypad requires no programming, because the controller is configured to listen for its button IDs instead. As with the rest of the STAR range, up to six buttons can be assigned to drive a single channel, and on a dual-colour or dual-channel output one button can control both — first press for channel A, second for channel B, third to run them together (the standard white/amber dual-LED setup). Each button's LED reports the true on/off state of its channel, even when that channel is also being switched over Bluetooth from elsewhere.

Construction is back-lit ABS, mountable landscape or portrait, and rated IP65 — dust-tight and protected against water jets, suited to a cabin, canopy interior, or covered exterior panel. For a fully exposed, wash-down exterior location, Safiery's rubber-cased STAR-Switch SP8 (the keypad bundled as standard in Jupiter packs) steps up to IP67; IC8 is the upgrade pick when you want relabelable icons and a slimmer flush face (9mm vs SP8's 16mm) rather than a fixed rubber button layout.

Delivery in 10-20 days

8 button

CAN

IP65

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load. It's the keypad included as standard in Safiery's Jupiter packs, and its build reflects that job: a traditional rubber button press that keeps working when your fingers are grimy or dripping in oil, and cleans up just as easily afterward.

That combination — sealed rubber construction plus an IP67 rating — is what separates it from its closest sibling, the STAR-Switch Icon (IC8). Both are 8-button CAN keypads, but the Icon trades some weather sealing (IP65) for swappable, engraved icon buttons at more than double the price ($446.00 vs $204.75). Pick SP8 where the keypad genuinely lives outside — on a canopy, a camper exterior, a tourer's tub — and reach for IC8 instead where you want to relabel circuits later without rewiring the panel.

On the wiring side, SP8 needs no programming of its own: install it and wire it into the CAN backbone alongside a STAR-Power, STAR-Light or STAR-Rover controller (all of which carry a CAN port for Victron, NMEA and wired-keypad connectivity), and its 8 buttons are assigned to output channels on the controller's side rather than the keypad's — a workflow confirmed in detail for STAR-Light's own CAN keypad configuration tool. At 105 × 63 × 16mm (22mm behind the panel) it mounts into a compact cutout, landscape orientation, running from the vehicle's 12V supply.

Delivery in 10-20 days

8 button

CAN

IP67

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load.
