The Fronius Smart Meter is a bidirectional meter that optimizes self-consumption, detects the load curve of the home network and controls the various energy flows. In the presence of supply limitations, the high measurement accuracy and communication speed of the Modbus RTU interface allow for faster and more precise dynamic regulation of the supplied energy than with S0 meters.

Together with Fronius Solar.web, the Fronius Smart Meter enables the clear and concise display of self-consumption of electricity. In Fronius storage solutions, the Fronius Smart Meter ensures perfectly coordinated management of the various energy flows, thus optimizing the entire energy management. The Fronius Smart Meter is perfectly suited for the use of Fronius GEN24 Plus inverters and all Fronius inverters equipped with Fronius Datamanager 2.0.
