We pay the import taxes: the price you see here is the price you pay, with no duties and no customs clearance charges on delivery.

Quasar Glass is the touch control panel in real glass for motorhomes, caravans, trucks and boats: switching, Victron data, tanks, air, tyre pressure and cameras on a single screen. No hub, no gateway and no internet required.

Twelve dimmable channels on a 4-inch touchscreen: STAR-Light V2 controller, Quasar Glass 4 panel and dual-band 4G router, pre-paired at our bench. Wire to 12 V and it is alive.

Quasar Glass Control puts twelve switched channels on real glass. One STAR-Light V2 controller (12 x 10 A, dimmable, fuseless, wireless), one Quasar Glass 4 panel (4-inch Android touchscreen) and one Quasar Glass Router (dual-band Wi-Fi and 4G in a Quasar anodised case) leave our bench already paired to each other on the kit's own private network, with a quick-start card carrying one QR code. Mount and wire them as you would any digital switching system, with the router and controller on your always-on circuit, power up in any order, and within about a minute the glass shows every channel live: twelve tiles across three swipe pages, press and hold to dim, scenes on a long press. Monitor everything, control Safiery: add your Victron Smart products later and the glass reads them from their Bluetooth broadcasts, read-only.

There is no hub, no gateway and nothing that needs the internet. The free Quasar Glass App (Android 10 and iOS 15 or later) puts the same tiles on your phone, locally over the kit's 5 GHz network or remotely through the router's 4G once a SIM is fitted. Every option attaches to this package and the screen gains the page automatically: STAR-Tank radar tank sensors, Ruuvi temperature and air-quality sensors, a STAR-Rover-4 CAN peer for tyre pressure, incline and Safiery solid-state batteries, extra Quasar Glass panels with roles, dual-band cameras and wireless STAR switches. Victron read from Bluetooth is monitored, not controlled; with a Cerbo GX the glass controls inverter/charger mode and the AC input current limit. Full Victron control with conversation is the Quasar ONE upgrade. Router supplied subject to regulatory approval in each market.

Delivery in 30-45 days

Bundle

Save 13%

Pre-paired

Key features

Real glass, not plastic

Switching, Victron, tanks, air, tyres and cameras on one screen

No hub, no gateway, no internet connection

4, 10 and 13.3 inch sizes

How it works

The panel is real glass with the capacitive touch layer behind it, not printed plastic. It joins the CAN bus of the STAR modules and, where present, a Victron Cerbo GX or the Bluetooth of the Victron devices directly: from there it reads batteries, inverter, tanks, tyre pressure and cameras and shows them on ready-made pages. There is no hub to install and no subscription: the panel talks to the devices themselves, so it works where there is no signal. Add an option (camera, TPMS, inclinometer) and the panel creates the matching page by itself.

Technical specifications

Switching

STAR-Light V2: 12 x 10 A (40 A total), 8 dimmable channels, 2 RGBW outputs, fuseless protection, 10 to 32 V DC

Glass

Quasar Glass 4: 4-inch 480 x 480 Android touchscreen, 9 to 24 V DC, Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.4

Router

Quasar Glass Router: dual-band 2 x 2 Wi-Fi, 5 x Gigabit Ethernet, 4G module fitted per region with SIM holder, 9 to 36 V DC, Quasar anodised aluminium case

Network

STAR controllers on 2.4 GHz, panels and cameras on 5 GHz, Cerbo GX by Ethernet, WPA3; the kit's own private network, pre-paired at the bench

Victron read

Bluetooth Instant Readout, read-only; or Cerbo GX over Modbus TCP with inverter/charger mode and AC input limit control

App

Quasar Glass App, free, Android 10 and iOS 15 or later, local over 5 GHz and remote over the router's 4G

In the box

STAR-Light V2, Quasar Glass 4 panel, Quasar Glass Router, quick-start card with one QR code

Upgrade path

Cerbo GX, Quasar Cloud, Quasar ONE, Quasar Master; the same glass throughout

SHIPPING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The price includes transport to your address in Italy and the European Union.
