They are driven from a keypad, from the app or from the on-board display, and every channel is electronically protected.

Twelve-channel 10A wireless controller with Matter, integrates with Victron.

STAR-Light V2 is the lighting specialist of Safiery's STAR digital-switching range: a 12-channel wireless controller purpose-built for vehicle, canopy and camper lighting circuits. Its siblings are sized differently — STAR-Power (12 channels, up to 150A total) is built for main distribution panels carrying high-current loads, while STAR-Rover (4×15A, IP65) is the compact option for tight or harsh mounting spots like engine rooms and under-seat cavities. STAR-Light V2 sits between them with the most channels dedicated to lighting: 12 channels of up to 10A each (40A total), 8 of which are dimmable, and two wired as full RGBW colour outputs with double-press switching between white and colour modes.

Like the rest of the range it runs CAN bus, long-range Bluetooth and Matter WiFi simultaneously, so it can talk to Victron gear, wired CAN keypads and a phone app at the same time (Matter support ships from Q3 2025 — earlier units need a trip back to Safiery to load the certificate, since it can't be applied over the air). A single controller supports up to 80 wireless switches and up to 6 buttons per channel, so large or duplicated switch layouts run off the one controller rather than needing separate boxes. Protection is fuseless — a short trips the circuit within 80 microseconds, and each channel's current threshold and trip delay (10A / 1 second by default) are user-adjustable.

Against Redarc's TVMS Rogue, STAR-Light V2 offers 12 channels to the Rogue's 10, an anodised-aluminium case instead of plastic, RGBW colour the Rogue doesn't have, and pairs with Safiery's 7-inch STAR-Touch screen (plus up to 5 tanks) versus the Rogue's 2-tank RedVision display.

12× 10A

Matter

Victron

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load. A STAR module is fitted next to the loads (lights, pumps, awning, fridge) and short wires run from the module to the load; the buttons talk to the module over radio or CAN, so no control cable has to reach the dashboard. Every channel has its own electronic protection: if a load draws too much, the channel opens by itself and is reset from the button or the app, with no fuse to change. Connect the CAN bus to a Victron Cerbo GX or a Quasar Glass display and the same channels are controlled from the on-board screen.

Technical specifications

Channels

12 channels, up to 10A each (40A total)

Dimmable channels

8 of 12 (channels 1-4 and 9-12) are dimmable; channels 5-8 are non-dimmable, though they can still connect to an RGBW light with limited colour selection (no dimming)

RGBW colour outputs

2, with double-press switching between white/colour modes or two colour presets

Construction

Anodised aluminium

IP rating

IP54

Operating voltage

10-32V DC

Communication

CAN bus + long-range Bluetooth + Matter WiFi, simultaneously (Matter from Q3 2025)

Switch capacity

Up to 80 wireless switches per system; up to 6 buttons per channel

Short-circuit protection

Fuseless; opens the circuit within 80 microseconds

Per-channel trip settings

Default 10A threshold / 1000ms delay, user-adjustable

Minimum power cable / max fuse

8mm² / 50A

Documentation

Manual — Download the PDF

Declaration of conformity — Download the PDF

Manual — Download the PDF

Videos

SHIPPING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The price includes transport to your address in Italy and the European Union.
