We pay the import taxes: the price you see here is the price you pay, with no duties and no customs clearance charges on delivery.

STAR is Safiery digital switching: wireless and CAN switching modules that replace relays and wiring looms and integrate straight into Victron systems. They are driven from a keypad, from the app or from the on-board display, and every channel is electronically protected.

Long-range Bluetooth battery 4-button switch, engraved, blue LED.

The STAR-Switch Quad is a battery-powered, four-button wireless switch from Safiery's STAR digital switching range — a control point you can mount anywhere on a vehicle, camper, or boat without running a wire back to the panel. Each button is custom-engraved for what it operates, and a blue LED confirms status at a glance.

It pairs over long-range Bluetooth to a STAR-Power, STAR-Light, or STAR-Rover controller — one of three modes those controllers run simultaneously, alongside CAN/NMEA and Matter WiFi. Needing no cable back to the backbone, the Quad suits positions where a CAN home-run is impractical, or where you want to reposition a switch later without re-wiring — unlike the CAN-wired IC8 and SP8 keypads, which need a cable run, or the STAR-Switch Custom, built to take hardwired inputs rather than act as a switch itself. In the same family, the SP4-12V-Supply switch trades battery power for a 12V feed specifically so its backlight stays lit continuously; the Quad runs on its own battery instead, needing no wiring at all.

The numbers matter in practice. Each switch pairs to a unique Bluetooth UUID — one of 2^128 possible addresses — and the controller only responds to that specific switch once paired, so a Quad won't cross-trigger a neighbour's STAR system in a caravan park or marina. Up to 80 wireless switches can run on one STAR system, so several Quads can be spread around a build without hitting a capacity ceiling. Up to 6 buttons can be linked to drive one channel together, and repeated presses on a single button step between two channels — press once for channel A, twice for B, three times to fire both — the method used to run dual-colour white/amber lighting from one switch. Bluetooth range is roughly 40m.

Delivery in 10-20 days

4 button

Blue LED

Key features

Wireless and CAN switching with no relays and no wiring looms

Integrates straight into Victron systems

Control from keypad, app or on-board display

Every channel electronically protected

Designed for the living area of motorhomes, vans and caravans

How it works

Digital switching replaces the relays and the wiring looms that normally link every switch to its load. A STAR module is fitted next to the loads (lights, pumps, awning, fridge) and short wires run from the module to the load; the buttons talk to the module over radio or CAN, so no control cable has to reach the dashboard. Every channel has its own electronic protection: if a load draws too much, the channel opens by itself and is reset from the button or the app, with no fuse to change. Connect the CAN bus to a Victron Cerbo GX or a Quasar Glass display and the same channels are controlled from the on-board screen.

Technical specifications

Buttons

4, individually custom-engraved

Power

Battery-powered (no wiring back to the controller required)

Communication

Long-range Bluetooth — one of the STAR range's three simultaneous comms modes, alongside CAN/NMEA and Matter WiFi

Status indicator

Blue LED

Bluetooth range

Approx. 40m

Pairing security

Unique Bluetooth UUID per switch (1 of 2^128 possible addresses); controller only responds to that switch once paired

System capacity

Up to 80 wireless switches supported on a single STAR system

Channel assignment

Up to 6 buttons can be linked to drive one channel; repeated presses on one button step between two channels (1st = channel A, 2nd = channel B, 3rd = both together)

Compatible controllers

STAR-Power, STAR-Light, STAR-Rover

Documentation

Manual — Download the PDF

Declaration of conformity — Download the PDF

Videos

SHIPPING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The price includes transport to your address in Italy and the European Union.
