The 48v Weco 4k4 4.95kwh lithium battery is one of the most advanced lithium batteries on the market. It has 7000 discharge cycles at 90%.
We can use up to 25 batteries to obtain a maximum storage capacity of 111.5kWh.
It allows nominal discharges of 1C delivering 5kw of power and peak of 2C (10kW) with 10 year warranty as standard.
It is compatible with weco wifi accessory for monitoring via App.
Universal compatibility with any inverter or regulator on the market by setting the correct load values. The weco lithium battery guarantees a long life thanks to a unique active cell equalizer on the market, capable of balancing the cells in real time.
Connection cables are included.
Advantages of the 4.95kwh Weco lithium battery
The weco lithium battery is one of the best storage systems that can be purchased on the market. The weco lithium battery has a 10-year warranty. The main advantages of the Weco 4k4 pro lithium batteries are:
- Universal Compatibility: Weco lithium battery can work in communication with the main brands on the market such as Voltronic, Studer, Schneider, Solax, Sofar Solar, SMA, Growatt, Goodwee, Imeon[_0127_5_3 ]... It can work with any other brand of inverter by programming the correct values. In all cases the guarantee is 10 years.
- Allows 90% discharge: Weco lithium battery has 7000 cycles with 90% discharge. We will have a gross capacity of 4.95 kWh from which we will be able to use 4.45 useful kWh. Its cell management system ensures a long life and maximum performance.
- Charge and discharge intensity 1C: The Weco lithium battery allows charging and discharging at 1C, so with a single Weco Mod.4k4 lithium battery we can charge and discharge at an intensity of 95 amps nominal (5kW of power). In just 1 hour we can carry out a 90% charge and can discharge a peak of 2C (10 kW) for 30 seconds. Its active equalizer and its special composition allow for a higher charge and discharge intensity than many batteries on the market.
- Operation in extreme temperatures: The Weco 4k4 lithium battery allows it to operate in an extreme temperature range between -25ºC and +65ºC. No other lithium battery on the market has this temperature range. They are the only lithium batteries certified by telecom operators for desert environments. Even a refuge in the mountains is not a problem with WECO batteries, thanks to the fact that their autonomy is much higher than that of lead-acid batteries.
Differences between Weco 4k4 and 5k3 battery
Weco 4k lithium battery and Weco 5k3 battery differ mainly in the cell type. The cells used in the 5k3 battery have a higher energy density and their chemistry allows for a greater depth of charge (100%) than the 4k4pro lithium battery (90%).
The prismatic cells of the 4k4 pro battery feature the same BMS as the 5k3 with active equalization to maximize battery life.
The charge and discharge intensity is 1C in both models and they work in the same temperature range.
Allows loading between -7 and 55 degrees and unloading between -20 and +65 degrees Celsius

Active equalizer for Weco battery
Unlike many other lithium batteries with passive cell balancing systems, Weco batteries use an active equalizer which always ensures that the cells are perfectly equalized and without loss of performance.
The weco active battery equalizer, unlike passive systems, manages to exchange energy between the higher voltage cell and the lower one. Thanks to a charge transmission system between the cells, the charge and discharge efficiency is very high as it does not require heat dissipation through resistors used in passive systems.
Another advantage of active equalizer is that it can equalize high currents, passive systems consume energy from higher cells to equalize them and normally take a long time to equalize unbalanced cells, sometimes even several days. Weco's active battery system can compensate for more than 10 amps of current between cells, so compensation is immediate even at maximum charge or discharge current.
Expansion and installation of the WECO battery up to 111.25kWh
The weco lithium battery is expandable and allows you to connect up to 8 batteries in parallel without accessories with the internal BMS up to 36 kWh.
The weco 4k4 lithium battery is supplied as standard with the accessories to be installed on the wall (recommended for a single unit) or stacked (recommended for 2 or more units) using the appropriate brackets.
It is not necessary to purchase a cabinet or an external accessory for its assembly. Both mounting options and the related accessories are included in each weco battery, as well as the power and parallel communication cables.
To use more than 8 batteries, we must acquire the HUB to be able to install up to a maximum of 40 units in 5 clusters of 8 batteries (180kwh useful).
Weco is compatible with any configurable solar or charging system
The weco 4k4 lithium battery is designed to operate in virtually any 48 volt solar system.
It is the most compatible lithium battery on the market due to the fact that it has one of the most advanced BMS and BMU.
Operation with communication: the Weco lithium battery can work by communicating correctly with the main brands on the market such as the hybrid inverters Voltronic, Studer, Schneider (models from 2019) Imeon, SMA, Sofar Solar, Solax, Goodwee or Growatt to name a few.
Operation without communication: the weco lithium battery can operate without communication with all low voltage configurable systems. We will only have to enter the recommended values. With WECO you can use Outback, Must Solar, Ingeteam and, in general, any charge controller or inverter that meets your requirements.
In any case, the warranty is 10 years
Weco battery mobile app
The Weco lithium battery allows Wi-Fi connectivity with mobile devices. To be able to connect via mobile phone, you must purchase the dedicated Weco wifi accessory. Each wifi weco allows us to display up to 5 batteries in parallel (one cluster).
