Off-grid inverters for stand-alone systems, turning battery DC into 230V AC: Victron Energy Phoenix VE.Direct from 250VA to 1600VA in 12V, 24V and 48V, and Sun Inverter with a direct solar input.

Sizing starts from the sum of the AC loads and from their start-up peak, which on motors and compressors can be three times the rated power. Input voltage goes hand in hand with the battery bank: at 12V you need heavy cable, at 24V the currents halve and at 48V they drop to a quarter.

The output is a pure sine wave, with protection against overload, flat battery and overheating, and a VE.Direct port for monitoring. For motorhomes, boats, huts and equipment cabins.
