Mounting kits made specifically for trapezoidal sheet roofs, in configurations for 3 to 8 panels: aluminium brackets for fixing on the crest of the rib, EPDM gaskets, rails, end and mid clamps and stainless steel self-drilling screws.
Trapezoidal sheet is the usual covering on warehouses and canopies and it has one practical advantage: the ribs run down the slope, so the rails are laid across them and the spacing of the fixing points stays regular and predictable.
The limit is the thickness of the sheet, often between 0.5 and 0.8mm: a self-drilling screw holds only with the right gasket and controlled torque, otherwise it pulls out.
