Part numbers follow motorcycle standards (12N9, 12N12, YTX20L-BS) for direct replacement. On these machines resistance to vibration and damp matters as much as cranking power: sodium chemistry has no liquid electrolyte to spill and copes well with knocks.
These are seasonal machines, used a few months a year: the big gain is that sodium does not lose cranking power in storage and starts without a maintainer.
