On an HGV the battery box is often a side drawer with fixed dimensions, which is why the same capacity comes in 306x174x222, 355x176x188 and 525x240x220mm formats. The criterion is still the CCA the engine needs, with the advantage that two sodium units weigh far less than two 12V lead ones.
On fleets, Bluetooth lets you check the voltage before setting off and avoid machines standing idle on a flat battery.
