DC-DC chargers with 24V in and 48V out, to charge a 48V pack from the 24V system of a heavy vehicle or a boat: models with the output current sized for 48V traction and leisure packs.
The two to one ratio makes this pairing easier to live with than 12V-48V: 15A at 48V needs about 32A at 24V, a load a heavy vehicle alternator carries without complaint. It is the usual answer when a 48V pack goes in for auxiliary propulsion or for a power inverter.
Set the charge profile to the pack chemistry, with the input current limited to protect the alternator.
