NAIONICS EverStart sodium starter batteries for generating sets, chosen on generator output: 12V 20Ah with 460A CCA up to 8kW, 12V 30Ah with 600A CCA from 8 to 20kW, 12V 50Ah with 800A CCA from 20 to 50kW and 24V 50Ah with 800A CCA and Bluetooth from 50 to 120kW.

A generator is the worst case for a battery: it sits on float for months and then has to start a cold diesel first time. Lead sulphates in that duty and gives up exactly when it is needed. Sodium keeps its cranking power after long idle periods and takes the temperatures of unheated plant rooms.

Compare the CCA with the engine maker's figure and the dimensions with the tray provided on the chassis.
