Rigid solar panels with an aluminium frame, from small 12V modules to the large roof formats: Solarfam Full Black of 100W and 180W in 12V for motorhomes and marine use, AIKO of 470W bifacial and 600W N-Type ABC high efficiency, TW Solar TNC of 625W bifacial double glass and Trina Vertex N of 620W i-TOPCon.

Below 200W you work at a nominal 12V, with Voc around 22-24V, suited to small controllers. Above 400W the open-circuit voltage climbs past 40V and the modules have to be strung onto a high-voltage inverter or MPPT: they are not interchangeable with the first group.

N-Type cells and bifacial double glass degrade less each year and carry yield warranties up to thirty years.
