Victron Energy distribution bars and isolating gear: 150A busbars in 4-pole and 6-pole versions with an insulating cover, Dual Terminal Stud M8 pairs in red and black, manual ON/OFF battery isolators rated 275A for 12 to 48V systems and the Smart BatteryProtect 48V 100A with Bluetooth.

A busbar exists to avoid the knot of cables stacked on a battery terminal: every branch starts from a bar rated for the total current, with its own protection. It is also the place where you measure, because a loose contact on an overloaded terminal runs hot.

The BatteryProtect drops the loads at a programmable threshold, before the BMS steps in.
