CHINT is a Chinese electrical equipment group and the maker of the DDSU666 and DTSU666 meters: the ones half the inverter market resells under its own brand. Buying them badged CHINT means buying exactly the same instrument.

A bidirectional meter is what makes self-consumption possible: without it, the hybrid inverter does not know how much the house is drawing, so it cannot tell how much energy to keep in the battery and how much to export. It is also what keeps export within the limit.

On litio.store you will find the single-phase DDSU666, direct-connected with no current transformers, and the three-phase DTSU666 with external CTs. Both communicate over RS485 Modbus and mount on DIN rail.
