SolarEdge products in the catalogue: three-phase inverters, photovoltaic kits such as the 9.44 kWp with an 8 kW inverter, the Backup Interface for continuity, and the range of power optimisers S1000 at 1100W, S1200 at 1300W and S1500 at 1500W for two modules in series, with different cable lengths.

The SolarEdge architecture puts an optimiser on each module or pair of modules: every panel works at its own maximum power point and the string runs at constant voltage. The benefit shows on shaded pitches and irregular layouts, where a conventional string loses a lot.

Optimisers also provide module-level shutdown, a requirement in some fire safety specifications.
