Single-phase covers most Italian homes, where the meter is rated 3 or 6kW: beyond that it is worth considering three-phase, because a 6kW single-phase hybrid on a 3kW connection can deliver more than the meter will accept on import.

All-in-one units cut the wiring: battery, inverter and protection sit in one cabinet, with compatibility already settled.
