Collection: Victron Energy – Battery Monitor BMV & SmartShunt

Victron Energy battery monitors: SmartShunt 500A/50mV IP21 with Bluetooth and no display, BMV-712 Smart with display and 500A shunt, plus the Cyrix-Li-ct, Cyrix-Li-Charge and Cyrix-Li-load relays that complete the protection of the system.

The shunt is installed on the battery negative and measures every amp going in and out: from that count come the real state of charge, time remaining, voltage, temperature and cycle history, data that a voltage reading alone cannot give on a LiFePO4 pack.

SmartShunt or BMV-712 is a question of interface: the first is read from the app only, the second has a display on board.
