Redarc DPS series regulated DC power supplies: DPS1225 at 12V 25A, DPS1240 at 12V 40A, DPS2410 at 24V 10A and DPS2420 at 24V 20A, all with a wide 9 to 32V input.
They are for where a device needs a steady voltage the vehicle system cannot hold: on board, voltage swings between 11V on a flat battery and 14.8V with the alternator charging, and some radio sets, fridges and instruments stop working outside a narrow window.
The 9-32V input feeds a 12V load from a 24V system as well, which is useful on lorries and special vehicles.
