Semi-solid state prismatic LiFePO4 cells at 3.2V 280Ah with 1C maximum discharge, genuine and traceable: the same LFP chemistry as conventional prismatics, but with a gelled electrolyte instead of a liquid one.
The practical difference is safety and mechanical tolerance: a gelled electrolyte cuts the risk of thermal runaway if the cell is punctured or crushed and copes better with vibration and thermal cycling. At the same capacity the electrical behaviour is still that of an LFP, so packs are designed on the same criteria.
4 cells make a 12V, 8 make 24V, 16 make 48V, with the BMS sized on pack current and on the number of cells in series.
