DC-DC chargers with 24V in and 12V out, the usual combination on heavy vehicles: Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart at 20A and 30A, isolated and non-isolated versions, with Bluetooth for setup.

On lorries, coaches and boats with a 24V engine system you often need a 12V bank for radios, fridge, lights and on-board electronics. The DC-DC solves two problems at once: it adapts the voltage and imposes the correct charge curve, which a simple reducer does not.

The isolated version separates the negatives, the right choice on metal hulls and where the two systems have independent earths; the non-isolated goes in with a common negative.
