Redarc fuse kits, fuse and holder included: FK40 at 40A and FK60 at 60A with a MIDI holder, FK100 at 100A and FK125 at 125A for the main runs.

They belong on the battery side of every DC-DC charger: the protection goes within a few centimetres of the terminal, because the unprotected length between battery and fuse is the one place where a short circuit meets no barrier at all. The rating is chosen from the BCDC current and the cable cross-section.

The MIDI holder is on show and can be inspected: handy in an engine bay, where a blown fuse has to be found fast.
