Collection: Mains charging 220V

364 products

Mains chargers plug into a normal 230V socket and bring the battery back up while the vehicle is standing still — over the winter lay-up, in the workshop, on the quay or in the garage. You will find units for LiFePO4, sodium, lead-acid, gel and AGM, from 12V to 96V and from a couple of amps up to 100A, each with the charge profile its chemistry needs.

Three numbers decide the choice. The battery voltage, which has to match. The charge current: the working rule is 0.2 to 0.5 times the capacity, so a 100Ah bank is happy between 20A and 50A. The ingress rating, which matters if the charger stays on board: IP65 and IP67 units are made to be bolted into a motorhome or a boat, bench units are plugged in and put away.

The range covers single and multi-output chargers, with and without Bluetooth, with a display or just status LEDs, plus units that double as a bench power supply. Use the filters on the left to compare them by output voltage, current and ingress rating.
