Collection: Redarc – Cable kits

The Redarc cable kits for installing BCDC chargers: BCDCWK-004 for 40A and 50A BCDC units mounted side by side in the engine bay, and the BCDCWK-106, 107 and 108 series for the BCDC Alpha 50A in 2.5, 4.5 and 6.5 metre lengths, for installation in the engine bay, mid-vehicle and at the rear respectively.

The length of the kit is not a commercial detail: it determines the cross-section needed to keep voltage drop in check. Over 6.5 metres at 50A an undersized cable loses enough voltage to end the charge early, with the battery not full.

The kits include fuses, cable lugs and glands, already sized.
