DC-DC chargers with 12V input and 24V output, to charge a 24V leisure bank from the alternator of a 12V vehicle: Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart at 10A and 15A in isolated and non-isolated versions, with Bluetooth for setup and monitoring.

The step up is needed where the on-board system runs at 24V to keep currents down but the engine stays at 12V: plenty of van, boat and special vehicle builds. Watch the balance, though: 15A out at 24V means more than 30A off the 12V alternator.

The charge profile is programmable for lithium, AGM, gel and lead, with automatic start once the engine runs.
