BYD products in the catalogue: the BCU 2.0 control unit with base, part number 16448287-00, for Battery-Box Premium HVS and HVM storage systems.

The BCU is the brain of the Battery-Box: it holds the master BMS, manages the modules stacked above it, works out state of charge and current limits and talks to the inverter over CAN. Without it the modules are just packs of cells, and in the event of a fault the replacement concerns the control unit alone, not the whole tower.

Version 2.0 is required for the more recent configurations: check which BCU is specified for the modules you have or intend to install.
