Collection: Alternator charging

Alternator charging tops up the leisure battery while the engine runs, on motorhomes, vans, boats and work vehicles. Here you will find Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC chargers in 12V-12V, 12V-24V, 24V-12V and 24V-24V versions, from 15A to 30A.

They are chosen on input and output voltage, then on charging current: 15-20A for batteries up to 100Ah, 30A for larger LiFePO4 packs. The isolated version separates the negatives and is needed on metal hulls or where the earths differ; the non-isolated version is for a common negative.

The charge profile is programmable for lithium, AGM, gel and lead-acid, with automatic start when the engine runs and Bluetooth to set up and monitor from the app. Delivery in Italy and the EU, with sizing support.
