5-phase shore charger that supplies 30A to each of the three battery banks. Alternatively, the Phoenix 1+1 model supplies 3A to the starter battery and the rest to the 'service' bench. Thanks to Bluetooth, you can monitor the charger and set alarms directly from your phone.

Bluetooth Smart Enabled - Any smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth-enabled device can be used to monitor, change settings or update the charger as new features become available.

Phoenix Smart is available in two different models:

- Phoenix Smart (1+1): two outputs for charging 2 battery banks - The second output, with a limit of about 3A and a slightly lower output voltage, is designed for recharge a starter battery.

Automatic Voltage Compensation - The charger compensates for voltage drops in the DC cables by slightly increasing the output voltage as the DC current increases. Consult the manual for more information.

5-step adaptive charging algorithm: constant current - absorption - reconditioning - maintenance - storage be programmed for different types of batteries. The 'adaptive' function automatically optimizes the charging process based on the type of battery usage.

The right amount of charge: variable absorption time - In the event of low-capacity discharges (such as a yacht connected to the shore socket) the absorption duration is limited in order to avoid overloading the drums. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically extended to ensure that the battery is fully charged.

Prevention of damage caused by an excessive amount of gas: the BatterySafe mode - If, to shorten the charging time, you opt for a high charging current and a charging voltage higher, the charger will prevent gassing damage to the battery by automatically limiting the rate of voltage rise after reaching the gassing voltage.

Less maintenance and aging when the battery is not used: the accumulation mode - The accumulation mode is activated when the battery is not subject to discharge for 24 consecutive hours. In storage mode the flow voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. The voltage is brought back to its absorption level once a week to 'balance' the battery. This process prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the main causes of premature aging of batteries.

Also charges Li-ion (LiFePO₄) batteries - The on/off command of the charger can be implemented by connecting a relay or the open collector optocoupler output of a Li-Ion BMS to the remote on-off port. Alternatively, complete voltage and current control can be achieved via Bluetooth.

Fully programmable charge algorithm - The charge algorithm can be programmed via Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface. Three pre-programmed algorithms can be selected using the mode key (see specifications).

Remote on/off - The remote on/off consists of two terminals: remote H and remote L. A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected between H and L. Alternatively, terminal H can be raised or terminal L lowered.

VE.Direct interface - For connection via cable to the Color Control panel, PC or other devices. Please see the VictronConnect app in the Downloads / Software section of our website.

Programmable relay - It can be programmed, via the VE.Direct interface or a Bluetooth-enabled device, to trigger an alarm or other event.
