The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It has all the features of the MultiPlus, plus the option of an external current transformer to implement PowerControl and PowerAssist and optimize self-consumption through external current detection (max. 32A).
It also has all the features of the MultiGrid, with built-in anti-islanding protection and a constantly updated list of approval certifications for various countries.
Exclusive PowerAssist function
The Multiplus is one of the most modern and technologically advanced combined inverter/chargers in the Victron Energy line. Its many configuration options make it particularly well suited to use in lithium battery systems.
Exclusive PowerAssist function
The MultiPlus will prevent overload when AC sources are limited, such as a generator or a shore power connection. First, battery charging is automatically reduced when it would otherwise cause an overload. The next level boosts the generator's or shore power's output with energy drawn from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)
If the utility grid fails, or the generator or shore power supply is disconnected, the inverter built into the Multi switches on automatically and powers the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment keep running without interruption.
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 Multi units can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or split-phase configurations are also possible. Check our datasheet below to see which models support parallel, three-phase, and split-phase operation.
Remote monitoring and control
When paired with a GX device, you can monitor and control your Multi and your system, or systems, locally (LAN) or remotely via the Internet, wherever you are, thanks to the free VRM app. It can be accessed via phone, tablet, laptop, or PC on various operating systems.
Optional accessories
- Digital MultiControl GX remote panel: this panel lets you control the inverter/charger's main functions (turning the charger and inverter on and off, adjusting the maximum current draw from a charging post)
- MK3-USB configuration interface: this device lets you connect the MultiPlus units to a PC. This allows you to carry out any type of programming and configuration using the Victron VE.Configure application.
