Charging a leisure battery from the engine alternator is not always straightforward.

A standard alternator uses a basic, low-cost voltage regulator that simply maintains its output at around 14.4 V, without managing the battery charging process.

Bluetooth Smart enabled

Use a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or other device to monitor the charger, adjust its settings and install updates when new features become available.

Fully programmable

Absorption and float voltages can be programmed, along with the absorption time.

Fully compatible with smart alternators in Euro 5 and Euro 6 vehicles, and ideal for charging LiFePO4 lithium batteries.

Configurable battery charging algorithm or constant-voltage output

The unit can also be configured as a constant-voltage power supply or voltage stabiliser.

Adaptive three-stage charging: bulk, absorption and float

For lead-acid batteries, a short absorption period after a shallow discharge helps prevent overcharging. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically extended to bring the battery back to a full charge.

For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed, with a default of two hours. Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected.

Remote on/off

A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to the two-pole connector. Alternatively, the H terminal on the right can be connected to battery positive, or the L terminal on the left to battery negative or the vehicle chassis. All models are short-circuit protected and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current.

Any number of units can be connected in parallel.

Overtemperature protection

Output current is reduced at high ambient temperatures.

IP43 protection

When installed with the screw terminals facing downwards.

Input fuse (not replaceable)

Models are also available for 24 V systems.
