Solar kits built for motorhomes, vans and boats: 400W panels, a Victron Energy MultiPlus 1600VA inverter/charger, an Orion XS 50A DC-DC charger and all the installation hardware, cables and glands included.

On a vehicle the system has three charging sources to live together: solar, alternator and 230V mains on a serviced pitch. The kit settles the cross-sizing problem, because inverter, charge controller and DC-DC converter are already chosen to match each other and the capacity of the leisure battery.

What drives the choice is daily consumption in Wh, the usable roof area and the power of the 230V loads you want to run.
