The TW Solar TWMNH-48HC440W is the full black module of the TNC range from Tongwei, one of the largest solar cell manufacturers in the world. It delivers 440 W at 22.0 % efficiency in a compact 1762 × 1134 mm format, thanks to 96 N-type TOPCon half-cells. The build is glass-glass with a black frame and a fully dark finish, for a weight of just 20.9 kg: one of the lowest figures in its class, light enough for a single installer to handle on the roof.
It is the ideal product for premium residential work, where a uniform colour across the array is an aesthetic or planning requirement (historic centres, landscape restrictions, visible roof planes). N-type cells eliminate the light-induced degradation typical of P-type silicon and hold a power temperature coefficient of -0.28 %/°C, keeping losses down on hot days; TOPCon technology also delivers better yield in low light conditions, at dawn, at dusk and under overcast skies. The IP68 junction box with three bypass diodes and the Stäubli MC4-EVO2 connectors ensure long-term reliability, with a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear warranty on power.
