What it does
- The submersible probe measures the water column in the well, up to 10 m above the probe: you can see the level at rest, the drawdown during pumping and the recharge time of the aquifer.
- The pressure sensor on the delivery line, from 0 to 16 bar, reports a pump that turns without building up pressure, the drop caused by a broken main and the overpressure with a closed valve.
- The clamp meter reads the current on the three phases of the pump: it tells you whether the pump is running, how much it draws and for how many hours it has worked. An abnormal current draw is the first sign of a worn impeller or of dry running.
- The pulse counter reads the litre counter already fitted on the delivery line and totals the volumes delivered per day and per period.
- The controller in the panel starts and stops the pump from the app through the existing contactor, and reports as alarms the contacts of the float switches, of the thermal overload or of a door sensor.
- The solar gateway with a 4G modem sends everything to the cloud: thresholds, history, charts and notifications are consulted from a smartphone and from a PC.

How it is installed
Gateway. On a pole (diameter from 67 to 127 mm) or on a wall, in the open, with the panel in full sun facing south: the bracket tilts to 15°, 45° or 75°. Antenna vertical, clear above the pole and at least 35 cm from the walls. Insert the SIM, close the small hatch firmly and connect the panel cable: the gateway switches on by itself. IP67 protection, operation from -30 to +70 °C; above 50 °C the battery does not charge.
Level probe in the well. The stainless steel probe is lowered hanging from its own cable, without knocking against the bottom or the pump, and stops below the expected minimum level; if the water is turbulent it goes into a perforated protection tube. The transmitter body stays at the wellhead, on a pole or on a wall, never in a hermetically sealed chamber: the cable carries the atmospheric pressure reference and the vents must stay clear.
Pressure and litre counter. Pressure sensor with a male G 1/2" threaded connection, on a straight length of the delivery line, away from the pump, valves and bends and little subject to vibration; 1.5 m cable to the transmitter body. Where water hammer occurs a damper must be provided; in winter the length of pipe must be protected against frost. Pulse counter connected with two wires, with its 1 m cable, to the dry-contact pulse output of the litre counter.
Pump panel. Controller on a DIN rail in the panel or in a watertight box next to it, powered at 24 V DC, with the antenna vertical at a point with a good signal. One relay output (3 A) drives the contactor coil through an interface relay; the inputs read the dry contacts of the float switches and of the thermal overload. Clamps of the current meter: one per phase, never phase and neutral in the same clamp, 36.5 mm aperture, 1 m cables. Controller and meter are IP30: they must be under cover.
Configuration. The level probe, the pressure sensor and the pulse counter are configured via NFC with a smartphone and the manufacturer's free app: intervals, thresholds, litres per pulse. The controller and the current meter are configured from a PC with a USB-C cable and the manufacturer's free software. The gateway is configured from a browser, by connecting to its Wi-Fi.
Documentation included. A written installation guide with heights, distances, the wiring diagram of the relays and inputs in the pump panel and the switch-on sequence, and the initial configuration of thresholds and alarms based on the data of the well and of the pump indicated when ordering.

Before you order
No data line reaches the well: how does it transmit?
The gateway has a built-in 4G modem and is powered by its own solar panel: all it needs is a data SIM (not included, any operator, traffic below 1 GB per month) and a spot where a phone has reception. If the station already has a network and mains power, the version with an outdoor gateway connected by PoE Ethernet cable is available at a lower cost. You choose when ordering.
What power supply does the station need?
The gateway, the level probe, the pressure sensor and the pulse counter are self-contained: solar for the first, battery for the others. The controller works at 24 V DC and is powered from the pump panel with the DIN-rail power supply of the complete kit. The current meter is powered by induction from the pump conductor: it needs at least 5 A on phase A; with smaller pumps it must be powered at 5 V from the USB-C socket.
Can I start and stop the pump from my phone?
Yes, the controller closes or opens a relay contact on the control circuit of the contactor. The control is added to the existing panel, it does not replace it: manual selector, minimum float switch, thermal overload and the other protections stay wired and active as before. The command from the app requires the gateway and 4G to be working.
Which pumps and which litre counters are compatible?
Any pump, submersible or surface, single-phase or three-phase, operated by a contactor: on a single-phase pump only one clamp is used. The clamps have a 36.5 mm aperture. The litre counter must have a dry-contact pulse output (reed or similar); during configuration you state how many litres one pulse is worth. Pump, panel, float switches and litre counter are not included: these are the ones in your installation.
The level in my well is deeper than 10 m, or I have several wells
The 10 m is the water column that can be measured above the probe, not the depth of the well: what counts is how much the level varies. The cable must however reach from the wellhead to the probe, and different measuring ranges and lengths are supplied to order. For several wells or several pumps, sensors and controllers are added, the gateway stays the same and also covers points a few kilometres away in open ground. Write to us from the contact section stating the depth, the static level, the power of the pump and the number of stations: we will send you the composition and the quotation for the adapted kit.
Protection rating
The gateway, the transmitter bodies and the pulse counter are IP67, the probe in the well is IP68, the pressure sensor IP65: they stay permanently in the open. The controller and the current meter are IP30 and go in the panel or in a watertight box. The pressure sensor works from -10 to +70 °C: where it freezes, the length of pipe must be insulated.
Battery life
The level probe and the pressure sensor have a replaceable lithium battery with a stated life of 10 years with one reading every 10 minutes at 25 °C; the pulse counter about 5 years under the same conditions. The gateway works for up to 4 days without sun. The charge level is visible in the app.
Where is the data consulted and are there any fees?
On the manufacturer's app and portal, from a smartphone and a PC, with charts, thresholds and notifications; no fee for basic use. Where there is a remote control system, a SCADA or a consortium management system, the gateway can send the data to that system as well (MQTT or HTTP): the configuration is included.
What happens if there is no 4G coverage?
The pump carries on working with the automatic controls of its own panel. The level probe, the pressure sensor and the pulse counter keep up to 1,000 readings in memory, which are recovered when the connection is restored. As long as the network is missing, neither the notifications nor the commands from the app get through.
Is an electrician needed?
For the panel, yes: the power supply of the controller, the relay on the contactor circuit, the inputs from the float switches and the clamps on the pump conductors must be carried out by an electrician. For the gateway and the sensors, no: they are fixed to a pole, to a wall or on the pipe, and the pressure sensor is screwed in like a pressure gauge.
