What it does
- At wake-up time the E1 motor raises the roller blind and the T2 bulbs fade up in warm white.
- In the evening a scene lowers the blind and takes the lights down to a warm, dim tone.
- The FP1E presence sensor knows whether you are in bed or getting up: at night it brings the lights up at their lowest level and switches them off when you are back in bed.
- The H1 remote on the bedside table switches the lights on and off, dims them and raises or lowers the blind.
- The T1 sensor logs the bedroom's temperature and humidity and can send an alert if they fall outside the values you set.

How to install it
Hub and network. Plug the M100 hub into one of the kit's USB adapters, in a socket in the bedroom or the hallway. In the Aqara Home app you create the account, add the hub and connect it to the home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The hub runs all the kit's devices and the wake-up and night automations.
Blind and bulbs. The E1 motor clips onto the chain or beaded cord of the roller blind, where the manufacturer lists it as compatible, and is fixed to the wall with its bracket so that the chain stays taut. It has a rechargeable battery. The T2 bulbs screw into bedside lamps or into a ceiling light with E27 sockets, which must stay powered at all times.
Sensors and power supply. The FP1E goes on the wall or on the chest of drawers, facing the bed, and is USB powered: that is why the kit includes three 5V USB power adapters, one for the hub and one for the sensor, because neither comes with one. The H1 remote goes on the bedside table or on the wall, and the T1 sensor on a shelf, away from radiators and the window.
App and pairing. In the app, select the hub, tap add device and follow the procedure for each item, close to the hub. For the E1 motor, set the travel with the upper and lower limits. Assign everything to the bedroom and, in the FP1E, draw the bed zone if the app allows it.
Recommended automations. Create the wake-up scene: at the time you choose the blind rises and the bulbs fade up. Create the night scene: the blind comes down and the lights go off with the remote button. At night, if the FP1E detects that you get up, a bulb comes on at minimum. Set an alert if the humidity goes above the value you choose.
Contents verified. The E1 motor, the T2 bulbs, the H1 remote, the FP1E and the T1 sensor are all Aqara and are managed from the M100 hub. The kit includes a pack of three 5V USB power supplies, because the hub and the FP1E presence sensor are USB powered and ship without one.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: the Aqara M100 hub runs the motor, the bulbs, the remote and the sensors and executes the wake-up and night-time automations. A single hub is enough for the bedroom and for other Aqara devices around the house.
Does it work with Alexa, Google or Apple?
The kit is managed from the Aqara Home app, where the automations are created. The hub brings the devices into Apple Home where Aqara supports it and, through Matter, into Alexa and Google Home as well; support varies by device type. Automations are best kept in the Aqara app, which runs them on the hub.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The motor clips onto the blind chain and is held by two screws, the bulbs screw in, the sensors are simply set down or fixed in place. The USB power supplies go into ordinary sockets.
What happens if the internet goes down?
According to the manufacturer, automations between devices on the same hub can keep running locally as long as the hub and the home Wi-Fi are on, and manual controls still work. Without internet you cannot control the house from outside, you get no notifications and the voice assistants may not respond.
Can I add more devices?
Yes. You can add more curtain motors, bulbs, door and window sensors or a thermostatic valve to the same hub. Electric roller shutters need a module fitted in the back box: write to us from the contacts section.
Are batteries included?
The H1 remote and the T1 sensor run on the coin cells supplied by the manufacturer. The E1 motor has a built-in rechargeable battery, charged over USB as described in the instructions. The bulbs, the FP1E and the hub are powered by the USB adapters included in the kit.
Is the motor right for my blind?
The E1 motor works with roller blinds that have a chain or a beaded cord, within the compatibility stated by the manufacturer. It is not suitable for track curtains, roller shutters or spring-operated blinds. If you are not sure, write to us from the contacts section with a photo of the mechanism.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
