ONCCY ERS40-10-MC4 firefighter safety disconnect for 5 strings
The ERS40-10-MC4 disconnect opens the DC circuit of 5 photovoltaic strings whenever the roof has to be made safe: in a fire, during a fire brigade intervention or for maintenance.
Operation is motorised and driven by the presence of the AC mains voltage: if the grid drops, the device uses the energy stored in its capacitors to open the poles anyway. The enclosure is rated IP65 and installs outdoors close to the modules, with MC4 connectors on the input and output.
