Solar Cable 4 mm² Red H1Z2Z2-K 500 m Reel
Single-core H1Z2Z2-K 4 mm² solar cable in red, supplied on a 500 m reel. It is the format designed for the installer and for sites of a certain size: it makes it possible to wire the entire direct current side of several systems, creating connections between modules, string extension leads and runs to the inverter without intermediate joints. The red colour conventionally identifies the positive pole, to be paired with the black reel for the negative.
The conductor is class 5 flexible stranded tinned copper to EN 60228, with insulation and sheath in a halogen-free cross-linked compound. The double-layer construction ensures resistance to UV rays, ozone and the weather and makes the cable suitable for outdoor installation, on a roof or on the ground, in conduit or fixed to the module structures. It complies with EN 50618 and IEC 62930, with a maximum operating voltage of 1.5 kV DC and a declared expected service life of 25 years.
