Sonoff indoor pressure and weather kit: atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity
For anyone who likes to follow changes in the weather from indoors. The Sonoff SNZB-02M sensor measures atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity, while the SNZB-02UL thermohygrometer with its E-Ink display shows the readings at a glance in another room. History, graphs and alerts on pressure changes in the eWeLink app, through the Zigbee hub included.

InstallationDIY: battery sensors stood in place or fixed, hub to connect.
What it does
- The SNZB-02M sensor measures atmospheric pressure along with temperature and humidity and logs the trend in the app.
- A rapid drop in pressure over the preceding hours is the classic sign of the weather turning: you can set an alert for it.
- The SNZB-02UL thermo-hygrometer with its E-Ink display shows temperature and humidity in a second room, readable without opening the app.
- The history shows the difference between the two rooms and between day and night.
- The readings can also feed other home automations, if you add Sonoff devices later.
To add an outdoor sensor, more rooms or control of a dehumidifier, get in touch through the contact page: we will tell you what to add.
1Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro hub near the router: it links the sensors to the app.
2Sonoff SNZB-02M sensor with pressure, temperature and humidity, on a unit in the living room, away from heat sources.
3Sonoff SNZB-02UL thermo-hygrometer with E-Ink display, in the bedroom or another room, somewhere easy to read.
How it is installed
Hub and network. The Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro hub goes near the home router, connected to Wi-Fi and to the eWeLink app and powered as the manufacturer advises. It is the point the two sensors pair with, so it is best installed first. Keep it out of metal cupboards and away from other radio equipment.
Pressure sensor. The SNZB-02M sensor goes in the main room, on a unit or on the wall at mid height, away from radiators, sunlit windows and the hob, all of which skew temperature and humidity. Pressure does not depend on where it sits in the room, but it is best to leave the sensor in the same place so the history stays comparable. It runs on a CR2477 cell.
E-Ink thermo-hygrometer. The SNZB-02UL thermo-hygrometer stands on a unit or fixes to the wall in a bedroom, the study or the children's room, wherever the display is easy to read. The E-Ink display stays visible without spending power on a backlight. Here too, keep it away from heat sources and direct sun.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app pair the two sensors to the hub, each with its own setup wizard, and rename them after their room. Check the readings appear and that the pressure matches your area's weather report, allowing for altitude. Let a few days go by to see the history build up.
Recommended automations. Set a notification when the pressure falls below the value that signals bad weather in your area, or an alert for high humidity in the bedroom. You can also have a warning if the night-time temperature drops too far. Later on, the same readings can drive Sonoff sockets or dehumidifiers paired with the same hub.
Contents verified. The SNZB-02M sensor and the SNZB-02UL thermo-hygrometer are Sonoff Zigbee devices that work with the ZB Bridge Pro hub included and run in the same eWeLink app. The kit needs no accessories: there is no wiring to do.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: the two sensors are Zigbee and talk to the Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro hub, which links them to the eWeLink app and to the house Wi-Fi. Without the hub they cannot be used.
Is the pressure reading taken indoors reliable?
Yes: atmospheric pressure is the same indoors and out, unlike temperature and humidity. The reading depends on altitude, so when comparing it with the forecast what matters is the trend over the hours rather than the absolute figure.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The sensors are battery-powered and sit on a cabinet or fix with tape or a screw, the hub plugs into a socket: there is no 230V wiring and no work to do.
Does it work with Alexa or Google Home?
The eWeLink app offers integration with Alexa and Google Home as the manufacturer states, for reading the sensor values out loud. Charts, pressure history and alerts are viewed and set in the eWeLink app.
What happens if there is no internet?
The sensors keep measuring and the E-Ink thermo-hygrometer carries on showing the values on its display. Without a line you cannot see the data remotely and you get no notifications until the connection returns.
Are batteries included?
The sensors are battery-powered; the SNZB-02M takes a CR2477 coin cell. Check on the Amazon listing whether the first cell is in the box. The charge level shows in the app.
Can I add more sensors?
Yes: you can pair more sensors to the same hub for other rooms, an outdoor sensor, or Sonoff sockets and relays to use the readings in automations. Get in touch through the contact page.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
An item can sell out or change version. Get in touch through the contact page quoting the kit code: we will point you to an alternative that works with the other devices and with the same app, so you keep a combination we have checked and you do not have to go back over anything yourself.
Why buy on Amazon?
Purchase, payment, delivery, returns and warranty are handled by Amazon, as with any other order: delivery times, returns and warranty are shown on Amazon when you buy. The kit is our own work: we picked parts that work together, plus the accessories needed to fit them.
