For schools, training rooms and meeting rooms. Three Sonoff AirGuard CO2 monitors, one per room, show when the air is stale and the windows need opening; four Sonoff S61s Matter sockets switch on purifiers or extractors when the readings rise. It runs in the eWeLink app or from a Matter controller, with no hub and no electrical work.
What it does
- Each Sonoff AirGuard monitor measures the CO2 in its own classroom: the more people and the longer the windows stay shut, the higher the CO2 goes.
- Above the threshold you set, the teacher or the person in charge gets a notification: time to open the windows.
- The S61s sockets switch an extractor fan, which brings outside air in to lower CO2, or a purifier, which filters out dust.
- The sockets meter the consumption of whatever is plugged in and switch off automatically at the end of the lesson.
- The history shows which hours and which classrooms the air gets worse in, useful for planning the airing breaks.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
No: the monitor and the plugs connect straight to the Wi-Fi and are managed with the eWeLink app. As they are Matter devices, they can also be used with a Matter controller you already have, without a Sonoff hub.
Does it work with Alexa, Google Home or Apple Home?
Yes: the devices support Matter and are added to the Matter controllers of Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home. For automations between CO2 and the sockets, check that the controller you choose supports the CO2 sensor; otherwise use eWeLink.
Does a purifier bring CO2 down?
No. The purifier filters dust and particles, but CO2 only comes down with fresh air: by opening the windows, with an extractor or with mechanical ventilation. Plug extractors into the sockets for CO2, purifiers for dust.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The plugs go into the wall sockets and the monitors either sit in place or fix to the wall: there is no 230V wiring to do. Just check the rules on electrical equipment and cables in the classroom with whoever runs the school.
What happens if there is no internet?
The monitors keep measuring. With a Matter controller on the local network some automations can carry on; those that go through the eWeLink cloud, and the notifications, resume when the line is back. The appliances can always be switched on from their own button.
Can I add more classrooms?
Yes: for each classroom you add a monitor and, if you need one, a socket, in the same app or the same Matter controller. Get in touch through the contact page with the number of classrooms and we will put the configuration together.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
An item can sell out or change version. Get in touch through the contact page quoting the kit code: we will point you to an alternative that works with the other devices and with the same app, so you keep a combination we have checked and you do not have to go back over anything yourself.
Why buy on Amazon?
Purchase, payment, delivery, returns and warranty are handled by Amazon, as with any other order: delivery times, returns and warranty are shown on Amazon when you buy. The kit is our own work: we picked parts that work together, plus the accessories needed to fit them.
