What it does
- Each W600 opens and closes the radiator valve to hold the temperature set for that room.
- The W100 thermostats show temperature and humidity on the display and let you change the temperature with the buttons, away from the radiator.
- In the Aqara Home app you link the W100 to the valve heads in the same room, so the control follows the temperature measured where people actually are.
- Weekly schedules for each room: warmer in the morning and in the evening, lower at night and when the house is empty.
- Through Matter the valve heads show up in Apple Home, Alexa or Google Home: “Siri, set the bedroom to 20 degrees”.
- The app lets you change the temperature even when you are out, for example before heading home.

How to install it
M100 hub. The hub plugs into one of the 5V USB power adapters supplied and goes in a socket in a central part of the home, away from metal enclosures. You add it to the Aqara Home app by connecting it to the home Wi-Fi. To use Apple Home it helps to have the Apple home hub, HomePod or Apple TV, already set up.
Thermostatic radiator heads. Unscrew the existing head from the radiator valve body and screw on the W600, using one of the manufacturer's adapters if needed. The valve body must be designed for a thermostatic head: if the radiator only has a manual knob, a plumber has to replace it. Fit the AA batteries; no electrical connections are required.
Thermostats and power supply. The W100 units go on an internal wall of the room at mid height, away from the radiator, the windows and direct sunlight. The 5V 2A USB power adapters are included because the M100 hub ships without one; any left over can be used for other USB devices. The optional pack of lithium AA cells is there as a spare for the valve heads.
App and pairing. In the Aqara Home app you open the M100 hub and add the valve heads and thermostats one at a time, following the manufacturer's procedure. Assign each device to its room, let the valve stroke calibration finish and link the W100 to the valve heads in the same room. Matter for Apple Home, Alexa or Google is enabled from the app.
Recommended automations. A weekly schedule for each room: 20 °C during the hours in use, 17 °C at night and when the house is empty. Warmer in the bathroom in the morning. With Apple Home, a location-based automation turns all the valve heads down when the last person leaves and brings them back to comfort when the first one gets close.
Contents verified. The W600 heads and the W100 thermostats pair with the M100 hub and are managed from the Aqara Home app, with Matter access for Apple Home, Alexa and Google. The 5V 2A USB power adapters are included, because the hub ships without one. The pack of Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA cells is optional, as spares for the heads.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: the M100 hub links the valve heads and thermostats to the Aqara Home app and brings them onto Matter. It runs off one of the USB power adapters in the kit and connects to the home Wi-Fi.
Will it fit my radiators?
It suits radiators whose valve body is designed for a thermostatic head, the ones that today have a head numbered 1 to 5. The W600 screws on directly or with one of the manufacturer's adapters; if there is only a manual knob, the valve body has to be changed first.
Does it work with Apple, Alexa and Google?
Yes: through Matter the valve heads and thermostats can be added to Apple Home, Alexa or Google Home, as well as working in the Aqara Home app. For Apple Home you need an Apple home hub, such as a HomePod or an Apple TV, for automations and control from outside.
Do I need an electrician or a plumber?
Not for the fitting: the valve head unscrews and screws on by hand, with no need to drain the system and no electrical connections; the thermostat runs on batteries. A plumber is only needed if the valve body is not designed for a thermostatic head.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The valve heads carry on holding the set temperature and can be adjusted by hand or from the W100 thermostat, within the local functions the manufacturer provides. Control from outside the home and the voice assistants come back as soon as the connection returns.
Can I add more radiators?
Yes: more W600 valve heads, more W100 thermostats and other Aqara sensors can be added to the M100 hub, within the limits stated by the manufacturer. The same hub also takes door/window sensors, handy for turning a valve head down when a window is opened.
Are batteries included?
The W600 heads run on AA batteries; whether the heads and the thermostats come with them is stated on each product's Amazon listing. The kit also has an optional pack of spare lithium AA cells.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
