What it does
- The CAM Outdoor Duo has two lenses and pans and tilts: from the app you point it at the gate, the parking spaces or the entrance.
- When it detects movement it sends a notification to your phone and records the clip to the microSD.
- The 1080p Slim Gen2 indoors watches the entrance or the living room, with its own microSD.
- The two 64GB High Endurance microSD cards keep the recordings locally, with no subscription.
- In the eWeLink app you watch both cameras live and play back the recordings, at home or away.
- The detection zones leave out the road and the pavement, so the alerts only concern your own area.

How it is installed
Wi-Fi network. The cameras join the home Wi-Fi directly, with no hub. Before mounting the outdoor camera, check the signal at the chosen spot with your phone: outside it is often weak. If need be, add a repeater or a Wi-Fi access point near that wall, so live view and recordings stay smooth.
PTZ outdoor camera. Fix the CAM Outdoor Duo on a corner of the house or on the front wall, at 2.5-3 m, where it can pan across the whole area: yard, parking spaces, gate. Leave clear space around it so it can move without hitting gutters or walls. Bring the power supply to it as the manufacturer instructs and insert the microSD before closing it up.
Indoor camera and accessories. The Slim Gen2 goes on a unit or on the wall, facing the front door or the living room. The kit holds two 64GB SanDisk High Endurance microSD cards, one per camera, built for continuous writing, and three 5V 2A USB power supplies, because not every camera has a power supply in the box.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app add one camera at a time with the setup wizard and the home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Give each a clear name. For the PTZ save a few presets, “Gate” and “Parking spaces” for example, so you can move it from the app with one tap. Check the microSD cards are recognised.
Recommended automations. Set the outdoor camera's notifications for night time and when you are out, with the detection zones kept to your own property. Give the PTZ a home position facing the main entrance. Switch the indoor camera on only when the house is empty, with a timed eWeLink scene if you like.
Contents verified. The two cameras join the home Wi-Fi and are both managed in the eWeLink app, with no hub. The kit includes two 64GB SanDisk High Endurance microSD cards, one per camera, and three 5V 2A USB power supplies, because not every box comes with one.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
No, the Sonoff cameras join the home Wi-Fi directly and run in the eWeLink app. You need good Wi-Fi coverage where you mount the outdoor camera: if it is poor, it is worth adding a repeater.
What do the dual lens and the PTZ change?
The camera has two lenses and pans and tilts: it covers a wider area than a fixed camera and from the app you can move it to look at a particular spot. With preset positions you send it to the gate, the parking spaces or the entrance with one tap.
Where do the recordings go?
Each camera records to its own 64GB microSD, included, with no subscription; when the card is full the oldest recordings are overwritten. The manufacturer's cloud services are optional and not included.
Do you need an electrician?
No, as long as you have a socket near the mounting point or can run the lead indoors. If you want a new socket outside for the camera, though, that 230V connection must be made by qualified personnel with the installation isolated.
What happens if there is no internet?
With the router on, the cameras carry on recording to the microSD cards. Without internet you get no notifications and cannot see the picture from outside the house; the recordings stay on the cards and can be reviewed when the connection comes back.
Does it work with Alexa and Google?
The cameras are managed in the eWeLink app; viewing on Alexa or Google displays, where provided, goes through linking the eWeLink account to the assistants. Check compatibility on each model's Amazon listing.
Can I add cameras?
Yes, more Sonoff cameras can be added to the eWeLink app and seen alongside these. Each extra camera needs its own microSD and good Wi-Fi coverage. If you like, we will tell you which models suit.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
