Victron Energy Cerbo S-GX

The Cerbo S-GX is the Victron communication hub for monitoring and managing the system's compatible devices. It collects system data and allows remote control via the VRM portal, with an available Internet connection.

Differences from the original Cerbo GX

The Cerbo S-GX keeps the VE.Can interface, but does not have the dedicated BMS-Can port present on the original Cerbo GX. It also lacks the four resistive tank-level inputs and the four temperature sensor inputs. It is therefore not correct to describe it as having no CAN connection at all.

Choosing the model

It is suitable when these additional inputs are not needed. If your project requires a BMS with CAN communication, check the required profile and device compatibility before purchasing. The comparison refers to the original Cerbo GX: the features of the MK2 versions should be checked separately.
