What it does
- The two PT2 units pan and tilt: from the app you follow the baby in the cot or the dog from one side of the room to the other.
- Two-way audio lets you hear what is going on and speak through the camera's loudspeaker.
- When they detect movement or sound they send a notification, depending on the functions switched on in the app.
- The recordings go onto the two 64GB High Endurance microSD cards, with no subscription.
- Night vision means you can check the nursery with the light off.
- In the app you watch both rooms live, from another room in the house or from away.

How it is installed
Wi-Fi network. The cameras join the home Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz directly, with no hub. Check with your phone that the router signal is good in the two rooms chosen: live view and two-way audio need a steady connection. If the nursery is far from the router, consider a repeater.
Cameras. Put each PT2 on a shelf or a unit, high up, where it can pan round the whole room. In the children's room keep it away from the cot and out of the child's reach, with the power lead fixed down and out of the way. In the pets' room put it where it cannot be knocked over or chewed.
Storage and power supply. Fit a 64GB SanDisk High Endurance microSD in each camera, built for continuous writing: in a camera that is always on it lasts longer than an ordinary card. Power the cameras from a nearby socket, running the cable along the furniture or the wall with the clips.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app add the two cameras one at a time with the setup wizard, then give each a name such as “Children's room” or “Dog's room”. Try the panning, the two-way audio and night vision with the light off. Check in the menu that the microSD is recognised.
Recommended automations. Turn on movement or sound notifications in the children's room only during sleeping hours, so you know when your child wakes. For pets, turn the alerts on only when you are out. Give each camera a home position facing the cot or the bed.
Contents verified. The two PT2 cameras join the Wi-Fi and are managed in the eWeLink app, with no hub. The kit includes two 64GB SanDisk High Endurance microSD cards, one per camera, because the cameras come with no memory and continuous recording needs cards built to last.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
No, the PT2 cameras join the home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi directly and run in the eWeLink app. You need good Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms you put them in.
Can I talk to the child or the dog?
Yes, the PT2 cameras have two-way audio: from the app you listen in on the room and speak through the camera's speaker. With small children it is best used in a calm voice, so as not to frighten them.
Is it a medical baby monitor?
No: it is a home camera for keeping an eye on the room, not a device that measures breathing or vital signs. It does not replace an adult watching over the child, nor the specific devices your paediatrician recommends.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The cameras run off an ordinary socket and sit on a cabinet or a shelf. Keep the cables fixed down and out of reach of children and pets.
What happens if there is no internet?
With the router on, the cameras carry on recording to the microSD cards. Without internet, though, you get no notifications and cannot see the picture from outside the house; from another room, on the local network, live view depends on what the app allows.
Can I add cameras?
Yes, more Sonoff cameras can be added to the eWeLink app and seen alongside these. Each one needs its own microSD. If you also want to keep an eye on the temperature in the child's room, there are Sonoff sensors for that: get in touch and we will tell you what to add.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
