Quasar Glass is the touch control panel in real glass for motorhomes, caravans, trucks and boats: switching, Victron data, tanks, air, tyre pressure and cameras on a single screen. No hub, no gateway and no internet required.

A dual-band Wi-Fi camera matched to your Quasar Glass kit at the bench: reverse, or a set incline angle, flips the nearest screen to it, and the free app gives you a glance from anywhere.

The Video Display option for any Quasar Glass Control or Power package. Each Safiery dual-band Wi-Fi camera is pre-configured to your kit at our bench: the RTSP sub-stream set, the 5 GHz credentials loaded and its tile placed, so it is live when you power it. Reversing, or reaching a set incline angle with the Angle option, flips the nearest Quasar Glass panel to the camera automatically. Position it at the rear or on the campsite; every camera runs from 12 V and joins the Quasar Glass Router's 5 GHz network, with 2.4 GHz as backup, so nothing is cabled for data.

In the free Quasar Glass App every camera tile shows a fresh snapshot on demand, and in or beside the vehicle the app streams full quality over the 5 GHz network. Remote live viewing streams the camera's 480p remote profile through the router's 4G and needs a customer data SIM in the router. Third-party cameras meeting Safiery's compatible-camera requirements (dual-band Wi-Fi, an H.264 RTSP sub-stream, a JPEG snapshot, 12 V) can be added later from the app.

How it works

The panel is real glass with the capacitive touch layer behind it, not printed plastic. It joins the CAN bus of the STAR modules and, where present, a Victron Cerbo GX or the Bluetooth of the Victron devices directly: from there it reads batteries, inverter, tanks, tyre pressure and cameras and shows them on ready-made pages. There is no hub to install and no subscription: the panel talks to the devices themselves, so it works where there is no signal. Add an option (camera, TPMS, inclinometer) and the panel creates the matching page by itself.
