The Deye SUN-BK250-2.56KWH-EU-AM4-32L is not an ordinary string inverter but a compact integrated storage system: a single IP65 enclosure houses a 2.5 kW single-phase hybrid inverter and a 2.56 kWh LiFePO4 battery. It converts the energy from the PV modules into 230 V AC, charges the battery and regulates the exchange with the grid, with a zero export function controlled wirelessly.
It is intended for balcony systems, small residential users and portable applications: it connects to a standard domestic socket and works in grid-connected hybrid, off-grid or AC-coupled mode to add storage to an existing balcony system with microinverters. PV input up to 5,760 W across 4 independent MPPTs, grid/off-grid switchover in less than 4 ms for UPS-grade backup. Up to 3 units in parallel (7.5 kW) and capacity expandable with external battery modules from the same family.
