Victron Energy MIDI fuse 30A-150A black 48V (58V max)
The 58 V version of the Victron Energy MIDI fuses, for 48 V systems: inverters, MultiPlus, Quattro and 48 V lithium battery banks. Available from 30 A to 150 A, as a single piece or in the Victron pack of 5 with M6 studs.
Key strengths
It protects the cable, not the load
A fuse is always sized on the cross-section of the cable it protects: it trips before the conductor reaches a dangerous temperature during a short circuit.
Bolt-down mounting
Direct screw contact on the busbar or fuse holder: no springs, no sliding contacts, minimal contact resistance even at high currents.
High breaking capacity
Designed for the short-circuit values typical of lithium and lead-acid battery banks, where fault currents quickly exceed several thousand amps.

Victron supplies these fuses in packs of 5. On our site you can choose either a single piece or the full pack, at the Victron list price.
How to pick the rating
On 48 V systems a 32 V fuse must not be used: the 58 V version is required.
- Work out the maximum continuous current the cable will carry
- Pick a fuse rated above the working current but below the cable's capacity
- Check the fuse voltage rating suits the system: a 32 V fuse must not be used on a 48 V installation
- Always fit the fuse as close as possible to the battery positive terminal
