On a wheelchair weight counts twice: it loads the battery and it eats range. For the same energy a LiFePO4 weighs less than half a lead-gel unit, so the chair handles better and the push stays constant with the pack nearly flat.

Batteries go in pairs and in identical models, because in a series string a different capacity creates imbalance. Check dimensions, terminal positions and BMS current against the motors.
