The GC2 format reproduces the footprint of the lead golf buggy cell, so the swap needs no change to the compartment or the wiring. Moving to lithium the vehicle sheds 100-200kg, gains range and holds its speed to the end of the charge, which lead does not do in the second half of a discharge.
