Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 3000 VA Inverter/Charger – 12V 120A / 24V 70A
The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and MultiGrid.
It includes all MultiPlus features, plus the option of an external current transformer for PowerControl and PowerAssist and for optimising self-consumption through external current sensing (max. 32A).
It also includes the MultiGrid features, with built-in anti-islanding protection and an expanding list of country-specific approvals.
PowerAssist technology
The MultiPlus is an advanced combined inverter and battery charger from Victron Energy. Its extensive configuration options make it particularly well suited to systems using lithium batteries.
PowerAssist technology
MultiPlus prevents overloading a limited AC supply, such as a generator or shore power connection. It first reduces battery charging automatically if charging would overload the supply. If more power is needed, it supplements the generator or shore supply with energy from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)
If the grid fails or the generator or shore supply is disconnected, the MultiPlus inverter automatically takes over and powers the connected loads. The transfer takes less than 20 milliseconds, allowing computers and other electronic equipment to continue operating without interruption.
Expand system power with parallel operation
Up to 6 Multi units can operate in parallel to increase power output. Three-phase and split-phase configurations are also possible. Check the datasheet below to confirm which models support parallel, three-phase and split-phase operation.
Remote monitoring and control
Pair the Multi with a GX device to monitor and control it—and the connected system—locally over a LAN or remotely over the internet using the free VRM app. Access is available from phones, tablets, laptops and PCs running a range of operating systems.
Optional accessories
- Digital MultiControl GX remote panel: control the inverter/charger's main functions, including switching the charger and inverter on or off and setting the maximum current drawn from the shore power connection.
- MK3-USB configuration interface: connect the MultiPlus to a PC for programming and configuration using Victron VE.Configure.
