Mopeka makes wireless tank level sensors that need no drilling and no dismantling: the magnetic Pro Check Sensor attaches under steel LPG cylinders, while the Pro Check Universal is bonded to the bottom of fresh, grey or black water tanks.
Measurement is ultrasonic through the wall and the reading reaches the app or a compatible display over Bluetooth. What matters when choosing is the tank material, since the magnetic version needs steel, and the thickness of the base, which must stay within the stated limits.
The usual answer for motorhomes, caravans, boats and domestic tanks: fitted in minutes, replaceable internal battery and nothing to change on the system. Available in Italy and the EU.
