Collection: Victron Energy – DC-DC Chargers

Victron Energy DC-DC chargers with a programmable charge profile: isolated Orion-Tr Smart units with Bluetooth in the 12/12-18A at 220W, 12/12-30A at 360W and 12/24-15A at 360W sizes, and the Orion XS 12/12-50A series at 700W, also available in a marine version.

What sets them apart from a plain converter is the curve: bulk, absorption and float set from VictronConnect, with a limit on the current drawn from the alternator and an engine detection input that stops the starter battery being drained with the engine off.

Sizing follows the capacity of the service battery: as a guide, 0.2-0.3C of charge current for a LiFePO4 pack.
